You can always add additional pods, add-ons, or accessories to your setup at any time. The system is fully modular and allows you to expand as your needs grow. The maximum number of pods that can be connected to a single device (phone or tablet) is 12.
The right kit, bundle, or NFC kit size depends on your performance setting. You can access detailed size guides directly in the shop—simply navigate to the relevant category (Sportreact Kits, Special Bundles, or NFC Kits) and click the “Compare sizes” button to see all available options and recommended use cases.
The NFC kit includes NFC wristbands and an NFC reader that help automate testing and training sessions. You can assign a wristband to a specific athlete, have them scan the band before each repetition, and the system will automatically start the drill and save the results. This streamlines the entire testing process and reduces manual input.
You can add the NFC kit during the product configuration of your selected kit in the webshop, choose a bundle that already includes NFC hardware, or purchase NFC kits separately. Each NFC kit includes a different number of wristbands and readers to support various use cases.
To use NFC wristbands, an appropriate Sportreact Plus tier is required.
The flexibility, complexity, and creativity of drills depend on how many pods are included in your kit. Smaller kits with two or three pods are best suited for standard testing drills, while also allowing for introductory reactive and cognitive exercises. These kits are ideal for linear speed testing, simple change-of-direction tests, and foundational reaction drills.
Larger kits with six or twelve pods unlock significantly more possibilities. They allow for greater cognitive complexity, more advanced agility and reaction scenarios, multi-directional movement, and multi-station training setups. These configurations are well suited for advanced agility drills, decision-making tasks, competitive group training, and circuit-style sessions.
You can either use one of Sportreact’s pre-built templates and training programs available in the app or fully customize drills using detailed configuration settings to match your specific goals.
The number of gates and reaction lights included depends on which kit you choose and which app mode you are using.
For timing gates, the difference depends on the app tier you have activated:
- Free app tier: This tier allows you to use Twin (IR) laser gates, which require two pods to form a pod-to-pod laser beam. For example, if you choose the Lab Kit with six pods, you can create three timing gates in the Free tier.
- Sportreact Plus tier: This tier unlocks Flex (IR+) laser gates, where each pod can form a pod-to-object laser beam.
With the Lab Kit and six pods, this allows you to create six timing gates in the Plus tier, as there is no alignment needed. For reaction lights, there is no difference between the Free and Plus tiers. Each pod can display reactive cues and be used to build a wide range of reaction and agility drill variations regardless of the app mode.
You can activate Sportreact Plus in several ways:
- select a desired Plus tier during kit configuration in the webshop,
- purchase a Special Offer Bundle that already includes a Plus tier, - or subscribe directly through the iOS or Android app.

No. Sportreact Plus is included only in selected Special-Offer Bundles. Standard kits do not include Plus.
Sportreact offers two app modes: Free and Plus.
The Free app is available on iOS and Android and comes with every Sportreact kit. It includes all essential features, such as running timing and reactive drills, accessing around 50 pre-built templates, customizing most reactive and cognitive components, and creating agility sequences. The Free tier allows you to view results such as total times and splits, but data cannot be saved and athlete profiles are not available. For many users, the Free app is sufficient to run a large portion of Sportreact’s core features, with Sportreact Plus acting as an optional add-on.
Sportreact Plus is a paid upgrade that includes everything in the Free app, along with additional advanced features. These include athlete profiles with data storage, an in-depth report builder, report sharing with coaches, athletes, and parents, peer benchmarking and comparisons, normative data (Beta), access to the full 250+ template library, and expanded customization options. Pricing depends on the number of athlete seats you need, starting at $25 per month or $250 per year, and increases based on seat count. Each Sportreact kit includes intelligent pods and all required accessories such as tripods, mounting docks, suction cups, and Velcro straps. All components are packed in portable bags and cases for easy transport and flexible setup.
